Systems Analyst

This contract will take place in San Diego, CA. This successful candidate will provide analytical and subject matter expert help desk support. The candidate will be responsible for performing moderately complex systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, programming, documentation, maintenance, and implementation of applications that require a thorough knowledge of business, administration, advanced technologies, and related ADP systems concepts for effective implementation.

Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Required to have extensive knowledge of and experience with Navy Pay systems-DJMS, UMIDS, DMO. Applicants must possess extensive knowledge and background in Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS), Defense MilPay Office (DMO), Evaluation and Analysis Report System (EARS), JUMPS Temporary Lodging Allowance (JTLA), Uniform Micro-computer Disbursing System (UMIDS), military pay entitlements and procedures, and troubleshooting skills in resolving military pay discrepancies by reviewing Master Military Pay Accounts (MMPA). Candidates must also possess knowledge and skills in various Navy-specific and commercial telecommunications systems like File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Dyna-Comm Elite, UMIDS Bulletin Board and Customer Information Control System (CICS).

Advanced computer troubleshooting skills highly desirable. Active Secret Clearance is required.
