Description

We are seeking people that are interested in a seasonal employment opportunity to assist us with our Holiday shoppers! Position begins ASAP and runs through mid-January.

Must adhere to the following:
-available to be scheduled all days of week between store hours
-no time off is granted (store closed christmas day)
-contingent on clear background and drug screens
-no jeans; business casual attire only
-must attend face to face interview

Job Description:
This is a Full time holiday job with a set end date; no benefits are included in this temporary position. The position pays a competitive hourly rate. Holiday Helpers will be expected to perform the following:
o Enthusiastically greet all customers when they enter the store
o Help pre-qualify customers needs
o Set customer service and product expectations
o Help management with sales support duties
o Help manage customer traffic during peak sales periods

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
The candidate would describe themselves and demonstrate high energy, enthusiasm, be people oriented, creative, a self starter
Ability to professionally and knowledgably interact with customers
Tech-savvy, eager to quickly learn wireless device features, applications, capabilities and benefits
Comfortable asking probing questions to determine customers needs and expectations to ensure selection of the correct device/product and service options
Thrive in a fast paced, high energy retail sales environment
Flexible and able to work up to 10 hour shifts on your feet
Previous retail and/or wireless communications experience is a plus
High school diploma required; minimum age - 18

Responsibilities would include:
Enthusiastically greet customers and welcome them to Client
Pre qualify customer s needs and capture necessary information
Set customer s expectations if wait is required;
Direct customers to appropriate section of store; assist manager with customer traffic flow into and out of the store
Hand customer off to sales associate when available

Required Service Commitment:
Up to 40 hours per week from 12/1/09 1/15/10; overtime may be needed at peak times
Availability for flexible schedules during typical retail hours Thursday through Sunday and on busiest holidays; 7 AM 10 PM; store managers would complete and post weekly schedules in advance. Note: NO VACATION TIME WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN START AND END DATES.
Efforts will be made to accommodate students who have schedule commitments

Skill Experience Need
1) Multi-tasking in a Fast Paced Environment Intermediate Required
2) Tech Savvy Entry Level Desired
3) Well Spoken Communicator Entry Level Required
4) Social Skills Intermediate Required
