HOME-BASED TELESERVICES ACCOUNT MANAGER

This is a full-time position. Successful candidates must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The successful candidate will work from their home interfacing with customers via inbound and outbound calls or the Internet as a home-based worker for the purposes of managing a portfolio of small business accounts for a major Telecom provider. The successful candidate will market services to the account portfolio and provider customer service.

Salary + Bonus with a target compensation of $35,000 per year

Work location: Work from home

WORK ENVIRONMENT
. Work from home using your computer and home telephone to receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to market and provider customer service to small business customers of major Telecom provider.
We will train you in a classroom and online environment
This is a full-time position requiring 8 hours of work per day during normal business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks, functions, deliverables, etc.:
.. Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedure
Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy
Determine the best bundle/package of Telecom solutions
Clarify customer requirements; probe for and confirm understanding of requirements or problem
Meet customer requirements through first contact resolution
Confirm customer understanding of the solution and provide additional customer education as needed
Prepare, complete and accurate customer file
Communicate effectively with individuals in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests.
Effectively transfer misdirected customer requests to an appropriate party
Stay current on products, pricing, promotions, procedures, and other important issues
Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
Use decision-support tools to answer questions as needed
Solve problems that are sometimes unstructured and that may require reliance on conceptual thinking skills
Offer solutions to issues that are often non-standard/non-routine and require some clarification
Maintain broad knowledge of client products and services

Experience/Skills
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Education, Certifications, Training, etc.:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with a combination of some college education and work experience, college degree preferred
Minimum 1 year troubleshooting/problem-solving experience
Minimum 1 year inbound/outbound call center experience providing customer service in the Telecom industry or related field to business customers
Minimum 1 year inbound/outbound call center experience marketing Telecom or related services to business customers
Must have a quiet home-office environment to take calls uninterrupted during your scheduled working hours
Must own a PC-compatible computer with Windows XP or 2000
Must have DSL or Cable high-speed Internet service in the home
Must have experience using Microsoft Office Applications, the
Internet and Microsoft Internet Explorer
Type 40 wpm on a computer
Must have or be willing to add a second phone line in the home for call center work exclusively
Spanish language proficiency a plus
Ability to effectively communicate on the phone in an understandable manner in English
