IT Support/Help desk for a good few weeks and might turn into perm position for the right person. The IS Helpdesk categorizes every issue as they come in by using what we call support levels. These levels range from 1 to 3. Ticket entry/process would be:
- Pick up Help Desk voicemails
- Manage Help Desk Outlook Inbox
- Enter VM/Email requests into TrackIt system (Help Desk ticket system)
- Pre-screen tickets by contacting end user and assign ticket proper Support Level Status
- Perform Support Level 1 ticket work
- Escalate ticket support level as required and follow up accordingly
- Manage tickets that have been demoted in from higher suppport levels

- Reboot/Shutdown PCs
- Peripherals (PDAs, scanners, printers, USB devices)
