We have an immediate need for a Human Resource Generalist

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB DUTIES: Provide Deaf Interpretation and Transliteration for deaf
and hard of hearing employees. Support staff meetings, team meetings,
training and other requests by the employees or managers to enhance
communication and understanding. Coordinate Deaf Interpreter support for
ad hoc meetings and training requirements that need additional support.
Work with outside organizations to secure interpreter services as
necessary. With assistance from higher level HRG or manager, collects
data regarding employee issues. Listens to employees to understand their
interests, perspectives and to identify key issues. Works with more
senior HRG or manager to facilitate communication to ensure all views
are represented.

JOB SKILLS: Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to Interpret between American Sign Language (ASL)and spoken
English in both sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign. Ability to
Transliterate between English-based sign language and spoken English in
both sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign. Code of Ethics as set forth by the
Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Inc. Good organizational
abilities and good communication skills. Limited use and application of
basic HR principles, theories, and concepts.

Typical Education/Experience/Certifications:

CT and CI Certifications are required. Bachelor's degree and up to 2
years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
