Description
The Human Resources Systems Specialist continuously develops and maintains an expert knowledge center for functional support of systems, data and processes within Personnel,
for all key users in the Americas Region. This position is responsible for timely escalation of systems related issues to the appropriate support group as well as identifying training needs within the user community.

This position provides support to the Human Resources Administration Coordinators. Provides back up as needed to the Associate Service Center and Personnel user training. Seeks out and suggests improved ways of working.

The Human Resources Systems Specialist will have knowledge of Personnel systems and processes in order to respond to key expert user inquiries. This position will be the first contact for key expert users of Personnel systems, to troubleshoot and follow up on resolution of calls that cannot be answered within the Associate Service Center.

User Support - Investigates questions and issues from key users and helps decide on the appropriate manner of answering/rectifying them in a timely manner. User support will include expert country specific users, line managers, key users at the sites as well as Central Services Administration Coordinators.

Human Resources System Support - Is the knowledge expert and provides maintenance of the organization structure of jobs and positions. Serves as the functional expert to centralized reporting, including external regulatory requirements (AAP, EEO, Vets 100).

Determines priority of data integrity issues and most effective and efficient method of follow-up resolution.
Collects and raises issues for change requests in our Human Resources system and its satellites.
Proactively identifies training issues. Works with the Reporting & Training Specialists to design, develop and/or source programs to meet identified training needs.
Helps provide functional training and support to site key users.
Investigates questions and issues raised by users and helps decide on appropriate manner of answering/rectifying them in a timely manner.
Maintains security for regional access in our Human Resources system and compliance database maintenance

Maintain Knowledge Database- Ability to utilize and maintain the knowledge database that records and manages associate issues and questions as they call in or contact the Central Services team. Based on frequency of queries this position will provide a framework to share knowledge with users or escalate to the training team within Central Services.

Issue Resolution - The expectation is that most issues can be resolved at this level. Occasionally issues will need to be raised to the Personnel Effectiveness team. This role will lead and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Documentation - Contribute to support documentation and guidance to key users for processes impacting all Personnel systems. This will include communications such as interface changes, maintenance reminders, data management and integrity reminders.

Central Services Special Projects - Assist the Central Services Team with various ad hoc projects and any other responsibilities as assigned.

In this role, the associate will be expected to perform their daily responsibilities independently with a minimum of direct supervision. The associate will be expected to evaluate situations to determine when it is appropriate to involve the Personnel Central Services Manager.

Constant learning, stretching of responsibilities and initiating positive change are expected in this job.

Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
Specialized training in software applications utilized by Masterfoods USA.
Additional specialized training in Personnel systems & satellites.
Ability to build and manage relationships so as to influence at all levels of the organization and work effectively with all levels of associates and management.
Demonstrated strong customer focus and service orientation.
Effective influencing, presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to learn and train new processes and systems.
Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Attention to detail is critical.
