Description
We are looking for a Hyperion Administrator! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity located in Frisco, TX (Dallas).



Position Description Summary:

Responsible for all Hyperion Administration supporting a Hyperion System 9.3 platform running Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting, Web Analysis, Hyperion Application Link, Essbase Excel Add-In, SmartView, and MS Excel.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Will support the finance and field operations teams. The person will be working directly with the finance team in regards to reporting, planning, and forecasting and act as a liaison between IT and finance. Candidate should possess good communication skills and be able to track and complete multiple requests with conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment and must have prior experience generating reports of an ad hoc and recurring nature. Financial analysis is beneficial.






Manage the day to day Hyperion environment by processing security requests, scheduling and monitoring processes and handling user questions in a timely and professional manner.




Coordinating & executing system upgrades and desktop installs




Performing data loads/exports, including data validation




Consolidation/reporting of data




Maintenance of data mappings




Financial Report/Web Analysis design




Hyperion Planning and Essbase application design and implementation




Migrate system content and manage change control process that may involve several different IT and Finance groups.




Ability to research and investigate data discrepancies, provide data validation reports and understand system processes.

Ability to prepare and implement database standards and procedures across multiple environments

Strong knowledge of stored procedures and triggers

Demonstrated knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures



Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:



System design, implementation including complex calculations, database tuning/optimization, and administration experience with Hyperion System 9, including Planning, Essbase, Hyperion Application Link, Web Analysis, and Financial Reporting.



3-5 years Planning/Essbase experience



Understanding of ETL and data warehouse systems (SQL Server, Oracle).



Basic understanding of Windows Server 2005.



Solid experience using MS Office with an expert level in Excel.



College Degree required.
