Description
The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and programming the client's existing budget currently built in Excel and Access into a new budget program in Hyperion Planning 9.3.1. Also this person will be responsible for developing a Training Program for all users, delivering effective end user training, including all processes and procedures necessary for all supported applications. This person will ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables and work to resolve any complex issues; manage and reconcile the flow of data from branches to the Corporate Office, security, and all system issues related to the budget; and monitor and validate all budgeting data loads. This person will be developing advanced business rules, calculation scripts and report scripts in Hyperion applications.

Required Skills:
Candidates must have strong experience with financial modeling and analysis skills. Candidates must be able to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data; and must possess sound understanding of finance and accounting principles, competent quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Strong reconciliation skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in a timely manner is required. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and a true sense of urgency for completion of critical tasks. A BS degree in Computer Science, Accounting or related field is required. At least 3-5 years of Hyperion Planning and reporting development experience is required. Advanced knowledge of Hyperion HFM and Essbase is required.
