We are seeking a IA Test Engineer for a direct-hire position. Initially, the work will be performed within the National Capital Region (NCR) and will relocate to Ft Meade, MD.

Seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Test Engineer to support a new Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Identity and Access Management (IdAM) contract. This is a lab position with responsibilities supporting the development of an IdAM lab and performing functionality and interoperability testing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a lab and test environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with IdAM and PKI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IA
- Must be a self starter with strong analytical skills and have the ability to communicate customer requirements to internal and external groups.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience working within a lab and test environment
- General understanding of IdAM policy, standards, specifications, and protocols
- Experience with requirements gathering, developing test plans, testing, and producing test reports
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Basic understanding of system and network authentication methods and technologies (NAC, RADIUS, TACACS, etc.)
- Understanding of DoD PKI, SAML, XACML, SPML, LDAP, and Kerberos
- Understanding of network engineering, systems integration, and architecture
- Some experience with Ethernet switches, UPS, routers, firewalls, MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint Server, Tivoli Policy Server, Web Servers, Cisco Enterprise Policy Manager, Ghost Solutions, Oracle Express, Domain Controllers, and Active Directory
- UNIX and MS Windows
- Understanding of Configuration Management (CM)
- Experience using the DISA Gold Disk, configuring IPSEC, DMZ s, implementing DISA STIGs and IAVA s

Additional experience and knowledge is desired in the following:
- Providing Tier II and Helpdesk support
- Metadata tagging
- Continuity of Operations (COOP)
- VMware
- DIACAP C&A process
- Security Test & Evaluations (ST&E s)

Education:
- BS, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems required

Certifications:
- Security+ (CISSP is desired)

Clearance:
- Secret (TS preferred)

Work Locations:
- Initially, the work will be performed within the NCR (Falls Church, VA and Dulles, VA) and will relocate to Ft Meade, MD. During the initial phase of the contract, frequent travel is expected to Ft Meade, MD.

Travel:
- Up to 25%
