Description
IC Design Engineer responsible for establishing product definition and specifications based on customer and Applications Engineering inputs, executing the product design with support from Product, Test, and Package Engineering, and leading validation and characterization through to market release. Products will be power management circuits implemented on an assortment of BiCMOS and CMOS processes. Expected to be the driving force and primary responsible individual for the product definition and design process.

Must have BSEE and 10 years experience in BiCMOS and/or CMOS mixed signal IC design including Op Amps, comparators, oscillators, voltage references, I/O, transistor level logic, and have knowledge of process-layout interactions. Needs to have the confidence and drive to be a leading member of a product team including Applications, Product, and Test Engineering and have a demonstrated ability to take products through to market release. Applicant must have strong written and verbal communications skills and fluency in English. Desirable to have experience in the following areas: Cadence design; switching power supplies (e.g., Buck, Boost, isolated and non-isolated); IC ESD protection; HV smart power process IC?s; state machines; digital design RTL coding, synthesis, verification test-benches, and timing constraints; AMS Verilog mixed signal simulation.
