IDMS System Programmer

Duties:

• Installation of new IDMS CVs on the Mainframe and z/Linux platforms
• Keep version, release and maintenance levels current
• Monitor system performance
• Identify, resolve and prevent system problems
• Design and implement backup/recovery procedures
• Work with customer to plan all system changes

Requirements:

• Expert skill set with IDMS CV software
• z/OS operating system knowledge
• General knowledge of z/Linux administration and third party software that uses the IDMS base system software
• Programming languages: Cobol, ADSO, ADSA and Culprit
• SMP/E and ServerPac knowledge
• ODBC using JDBC, Java, C & C++ is a plus
