SUMMARY
Will be responsible for providing technical support to internal departments, requiring technical expertise in the areas of HW/SW, knowledge of Win XP, NT, MS Office, Lotus Notes, internet, VPN, and a demonstrated knowledge of networking. This includes troubleshooting laptop/desktop/printing problems, as well as company specific accounting applications; interaction with our clients is done by phone, in person and also remote control of desktop.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Resolve level-two problems reported by clients.

Work schedule is estimated to be 3 days/week in Oak Brook and 2 days/week in downtown Chicago office.

Provide high level of customer service to our clients.

Accurate logging, ticketing and tracking on all support tickets.

Provide accurate, timely and professional resolution on all supported issues.

Timely and professional follow-up on all tickets.

Accurately escalating tickets per department procedures.

Efficiently and accurately resolving all assigned tickets.

Back-up tape processing.

Workstation set-up and configuration.

Basic network account maintenance.

Basic network infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.

Become a Subject Matter Expert on one or more Crowe applications.


QUALIFICATIONS
Two-year degree in CIS/MIS or related field experience is preferred.

3-5 years similar experience on IS help desk or system administration.

Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution and problem determination/resolution skills are a must.

Willingness to work overtime when needed (Saturdays during busy season and other times when necessary).
