Description
Responsible for all daily operational support for the desktop/LAN infrastructure. Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5+ years prior experience of desktop infrastructure operations, preferably in a global organization including desktop and laptop hardware and software support and installation. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple projects and assignments and the ability to manage work schedules, projects and task priorities. Individual must have a desire to interact with end users or clients on the phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner.df-tc

Experience/Skills
-Strong experience with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP,Microsoft Office Suites 2000, 2003 and 2007.
-Working knowledge of Windows Server 2000 & 2003.
-Working knowledge of networking protocols, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
-Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting profiles, file and folders permissions and network connectivity.
-Resolve and escalate issues according to service level agreements.
-Password resets, setting up new user accounts, creating mailboxes and creating Security Groups using Active Directory.
-Strong experience troubleshooting remote issues with Blackberries, VPN clients, terminal services and Citrix connections.
-Field and log helpdesk request into ticketing g system. Respond to users over the phone or via remote access systems.
-Experience using deployment, installation and packing tools such as SMS/Altris is a plus.
-Demonstrated experience with HP/Dell equipment: laptops, PC's, printers and peripherals with the proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve all levels of hardware issues.
-Responsible for the deployment and tracking of all desktop and laptop hardware including peripherals using asset management software.
-Phone System Moves, Adds, Changes. Siemens PBX experience is a plus.
-Willing to be on an after hours support on call rotation.
-Maintain up to date hardware and software records.
-Assist the network administrator, network engineer, or network manager as directed, with the administration and maintenance of the network.
-The ability to perform maintenance on Software and Hardware as directed.
-Provide user support for all PC applications.
-Set up and configure PC's and peripherals as directed. Move these items as directed.
-Provide user support for all of the applications.
-Modify the configuration of PC's as directed.
-Install/upgrade PC software as directed.
-Complete special projects or tasks as may be assigned by management.
-Perform all additional duties required by management.
