Description

Responsible for day-to-day production support and new development for Theme Park and Resort Segment business initiatives related to POS systems. Accountabilities include real-time communication facilitation to business and IT leadership as well as the respective IT support teams. Day-to-day accountabilities also include Service Center incident handling during on-call rotations (24X7 support); problem tracking and resolution coordination. Capable of working in a team environment, demonstrating effective communication and analytical skills. Ability to prepare and present functional and technical specifications for new or existing applications.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Information Technology or related field, preferably POS systems
  • Minimum 2 years experience developing requirements for new system enhancements and supporting large application systems, preferably Point of Sale systems
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills to achieve business results
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, dependability, cooperation and thoroughness working in a large team environment
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of POS Systems and processes in a Theme Park and Resort environment.
  • Proven familiarity or direct work experience with Window 2000/XP client/server
  • Proven familiarity or direct work experience with any or all, Production support analysis, desktop troubleshooting
  • Proven familiarity with IT lifecycle methodology
  • Proven familiarity or direct work experience with any or all, incident handling, function testing and customer service
