JOB SUMMARY
Perform testing in accordance with IRS Test, Assurance, and Documentation standards and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to the following functions:

1. Prepare inputs to Test Plans
2. Prepare inputs to Work Breakdown Structure
3. Download/Print all Documentation via Documentum, Email, Web, etc.
4. Review/Analyze Test Documentation
5. Participate in walkthroughs/meetings/reviews/coordination efforts
6. Establish/Maintain Project History Folder (which will comply with requirements outlined in IRM 2.6.1) and submit for review
7. Prepare to receive/provide/track/verify interface data
8. Record interface plans and results in the Interface Database
9. Analyze requirements and develop test cases
10. Create data and test procedures
11. Create Predetermined Results
12. Prepare Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
13. Test software
14. Process test data and review output (using the expected results)
15. Report/Prepare Problem Definitions using the ITAMS system
16. Prepare Weekly Status Report
17. Provide input/participate in Weekly Status Meetings
18. Prepare End of Test Status Report
19. Participate in closeout activities
20. Finalize Project History Folder for final review
21. Document Procedures for future testing



ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform other duties as assigned.



MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: BA/BS


Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of IT experience and must have a minimum of 3 years of software testing experience.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of IT experience and must have a minimum of 3 years of software testing experience. Must have experience preparing test cases/scripts based upon system documentation, preparing test data, analyzing and documenting test results, and preparing problem reports.

The following experience is preferred:
Knowledge of IRS applications/processing environment
Experience with IBM mainframe environments (ISPF and JCL)
Experience with DB2/SQL
Experience with FileAid, or similar IBM utility programs
Experience with the Rational suite of tools
Experience with Unisys mainframe environments
Fluency in Spanish
Must be a U.S. Citizendf-tc
