Description
Provides day-to-day IT desktop support for internal Engineering customers (employees and contractors) from our Jackson and Fort Worth facilities. Support includes Windows and UNIX workstations, MatrixOne PDM, ProE and other engineering software, engineering printing, new user account creation and administration, workstation administration and lease replacement. Single point of customer resolution for all engineering software, workstations, and applications. Coordinates technical activities related to resolving engineering customers issues in other areas such as desktop, telecommunications, network, configuration, etc. Drives IT Services process improvements. Participates in creating and delivering end-user documentation and training as appropriate. Works to reduce hardware and software deployment times. Windows 2000 and Unix knowledge and experience in critical. All other tools can be taught after hire.
