John Deere Parts Distribution Center (PDC) is seeking an IT Analyst to an Integration and Process Analyst in the Warehouse Scheduling department. In this position, you will:

Be responsible for the software that runs the Parts Division's Warehouse Operations applications world-wide.
Assist with the requirements gathering, analysis, and design of the warehouse replacement systems for Order Line Scheduling.
Lead the ongoing development of the existing COBOL Warehouse Scheduling systems.
Delegate tasks across analysts at PDC and Technology Center India (TCI), and holding them accountable for deliverables.
Coordinate the development of enhancements to the interfaces between our warehouse and order processing systems across several team members here and at TCI.
Support existing IBM Host and Tandem Scheduling applications and interfaces to existing and future Java Scheduling applications.

Education

Four year degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.


Required Skills and Experience

2+ years structured application development working with small to medium size and complexity systems.
2+ years COBOL development using indexed files or imbedded databases.
2+ years experience in requirements gathering, design specification assembly, and coordination of tasks among 1-3 analysts.
High level of self-motivation.
Strong desire to learn new skills, ability to adapt to change, and ability to work under pressure across multiple hardware platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work effectively within a team structure, sharing ideas, knowledge, and supporting the other members of the team.


Desired Skills and Experience

3+ years experience with Warehouse Operations - Order Scheduling, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
2+ years experience with the JD-SDP and Parts Change Control Processes
