Description
Looking for 2 IT Audit Managers to perform detailed information technology audit reviews to assess the Company's risk factors and performance related to existing information technology and proposed information technology projects.

The results of this work could be reported to the Audit Committee.

This role also acts as an advisor to management regarding the impact of information technology on the internal controls of the business. This position reports to the IT Audit Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee the planning, execution and reporting of information technology, operational, and controls reviews with minimal supervision. These reviews will identify business and information technology risks. These projects would typically include the following type of reviews:
IT process testing associated with the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley initiative
Application audits
Network reviews
Information security audits
System development life cycle (SDLC) reviews
Regulatory and other compliance reviews (e.g., permissible usage of data, software licensing)
General controls reviews
Application controls reviews

2. Provide assistance to internal audit staff through the usage of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), for data mining purposes in financial, system and operational audits. Duties also include working with management on existing and proposed information technology projects (typically as a member of the SDLC team) to integrate continuous auditing technologies such as audit hooks and integrated test facilities into these applications.

3. Act as an advisor to management on business controls impacted by information technology through direct interaction and as a member of various project teams and committees.

4. Contribute to the development of the annual information technology audit plan by leveraging knowledge of existing internal controls and assessing operational effectiveness and efficiencies across the organization.

5. Provide functional advice, supervision or training audit staff.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in leading and managing audit projects
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to address variable situations
Comprehensive knowledge of project management, systems design and/or computer programming, and functional knowledge of systems software, telecommunications software and database systems
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work toward strict deadlines
Knowledge of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) Standards, Guidelines and Procedures and COBIT (Common Objectives for Business and Information related Technology)
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Access, Powerpoint, Excel and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
B.A. or B.S. Degree required - Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance or Accounting
3+ Years systems audit experience required
Preferred:
Knowledge of ACL (Audit Command Language)
Knowledge of SQL, PERL, and Visual Basic programming
Hands-on experience with UNIX, Windows NT operating systems
Oracle Applications and Databases
Fortune 500 experience or Public Accounting preferred.
