IT Business Resilience - IT Business Continuity - DRP - IT Recovery - High Availability (GDPS - GDOC - PPRC) - 100% Travel - Salt Lake City UT area - $75K to $113K+.

I have 6+ immediate Permanent positions for IT Consultants with 3 to 5+ years hands-on experience as IT Business Continuity and IT Recovery Consultants. You must have 5+ years IT Consulting with large external clients; you will be located onsite at Client Engagements. You must have 3+ years hands-on "IT Enterprise-wide" Corporate Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery DRP, High Availability GDPS / GDOC / PPRC / etc, IT Recovery, etc. CBCP certification preferred.

You can live anywhere in the US as long as you have easy access to a major airport. These positions require up to 100% travel Monday through Friday. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and we prefer a 4-year degree BSCS, BS MIS, BS CIS, etc. Excellent verbal and written English communications skills required.

This position includes the following:
* Permanent position with large corporation.
* Annual salary of $75,000 to $113,000+ (Target = <$95,000).

Responsibilities / Description:
*** You will be responsible for Engagement Leadership at the Client Site(s) to design develop and deliver Business Continuity, DRP, IT Recovery, and High Availability solutions ***.

This Business Resilience Consultant position is responsible for providing solution-design in developing and delivering complex business resilience engagements. You will be expected to provide Engagement Leadership of complex projects as well as provide consulting thought leadership across the Business Resilience Infrastructure services which includes Business Continuity, IT Recovery, High Availability (GDPS / GDOC / PPRC / etc), & Internal Recovery Strategies; you will work with other business resilience practitioners as well as directly with Clients in all sectors/industries to translate customer business requirements into business resilience solutions. You will work directly with client teams, team leads & sr. practitioners in Business Resilience to develop an overall understanding of the Business and Methodologies.

Required experience / skills:
1. 5 to 10+ years Technical IT Management in large corporations.
2. 5+ years outside Consulting at External Client Sites; Executive-level interface.
3. 3+ years Business Resilience - complex Client Engagement Leadership.
4. 3+ years Business Resilience - solution-development, and large complex Project Leadership.
5. 3+ years hands-on IT Recovery, High Availability (GDPS / GDOC / PPRC / etc).
6. 3+ years hands-on Enterprise-wide IT Disaster Recovery DRP, Business Continuity, etc.
7. 3+ years translating customer business requirements to Business Resilience solutions.
8. Ability and willingness to travel 100% required.
9. Excellent written and verbal English communications, formal presentations.
10. BS in Computer Science BSCS, MIS, CIS, etc (strongly preferred).
11. US Citizenship required (or US Permanent Resident - green card).

Preferred, but not required, background will include:
1. CBCP certification preferred.
2. Disaster Recovery DRP, Business Recovery, Business Continuity formal training preferred.
