IT Contracts Analyst/Manager



Employment Type:

3+ month contract, with extension

Located in San Francisco, 94105




Job Description/Responsibilities:



The IT Contracts Analyst will be responsible for analysis and reviews of IT related maintenance contracts. You will assist in establishing strategies for streamlining support and reducing costs, and assist in the development of an IT asset management database and contracts repository.
You will have frequent interaction with teams in IT.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:



*


Conduct analysis and reviews of IT related software and equipment inventories

*


Conduct analysis and reviews of IT related maintenance contracts

*


Conduct audits of major IT equipment and software purchases

*


Establish a master database to track all hardware and software inventories

*


Establish a repository for all IT related maintenance contracts and supporting documentation

*


Work with vendors to resolve contract and billing questions, issues and disputes





Top Skills:



*


At least 5 years of IT experience

*


At least 3 years IT purchasing and/or contracts management

*


Project Management experience

*


Experience dealing with vendors/suppliers

*


Solid analytical and problem solving skills

*


Strict attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superb written and verbal communications skills

*


Self-motivated & disciplined

*


Strong working knowledge of IT operations, Software licensing and maintenance agreements, including industry standards and best practices, and IT hardware maintenance contracts, including industry standards and best practices
