Job Description: Trainer position in IT Department of prestigious national law firm to train new hires and current users on systems and software, develop and maintain training curriculum and documentation, both online and in written form, and ensure during testing phase of rollouts that software to be implemented functions as required

Experience/Skills
Responsibilities:
Train new hires on firm's core applications and systems
Provide continuing classes to current users to improve use of firm's technologies and minimize problems
Develop and maintain documentation of systems and software and assist with maintenance of IT internal documentation
Coordinate testing and rollout of new software/upgrades: work with senior engineers during development to ensure software is configured properly; test to ensure no end-user or compatibility problems; develop and implement rollout/ notification strategy for end-users
Create high-level updates to firm's Intranet and assist depts. as needed
Monitor Help Desk tickets to determine trends for classes
Provide backup assistance to Help Desk
Assist users with data entry of infrequently used applications such as Visio and Powerpoint

Required Skills:
Experience working in a law firm or other services industry
At least three years experience working as a trainer
Experience with a DMS such as iManage
Expert level understanding and usage of Microsoft Office suite
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
