Description
Our Ceres customer is looking for an IT Database Administrator, who will provide technical and system support for all Database systems including software installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting. Qualifications include proficiency in Oracle / SQL database security, concepts and practices, experience with ERP system architecture and business integration processes. Strong ERP experience is highly desirable. Our Customer uses IFS, but will consider anyone with SAP, JDE or any other mainstream ERP type background that understands how ERP and business relates.Preferable will have a Oracle background, and familiarity with SQL, but will consider anyone with strong database experience. This is definitely a DB Administer position, not a developer. Will not design or code. Will serve as interface between internal users and vendor to request, apply and administer upgrades and patches. Will maintain DB.Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus.
