Description
This large, reputable healthcare corporation is seeking an Information Technology executive to define and maintain global technology architecture. This role requires in-depth experience in the following technology architecture domains: network, voice, security, messaging, server platforms, storage, desktop, and systems management. It requires a pragmatic visionary who is able to define a long-term architectural blueprint while also being able to drive the implementation throughout the IT organization. Overall, the role will identify business strategies and requirements, formulate a technology vision and translate this vision into sustainable technology solutions for the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
Define enterprise technology architecture, and for setting the associated policies, standards, and guidelines. Understand and document business strategies and requirements and aligning them with the Technology Architecture, acting as mediator between business and technology. Constantly seeking for innovative solutions. Working with the business partners to understand and =E2=80=9Cblueprint=E2=80=9D technology architecture, providing standard tools to enable businesses to meet their tactical and strategic goals. Modeling, defining and documenting Technology Architecture and ensuring it is aligned with the overall architecture. Define technical evaluation criteria and participate in product selection. Establish collaborative working relationships with the businesses, functions and regions and IT functions to align IT to the business strategy. Provide leadership, mentoring, and measurable objectives and employee engagement strategies for employees. Develop a comprehensive career development program to include high-potential identification, performance improvement plans, mentoring, training, and succession planning. Embracing the needs of a distributed global enterprise with diverse businesses and stakeholders. Active participation with the rest of the Enterprise Architecture team. This team defines the companie=E2=80=99s overall Enterprise Architecture and develops and deploys strategies to enable the overall enterprise architecture. Forming and leading sub-teams comprised of individuals from businesses, functions, IT team and strategic vendors to address a specific need or solution set. Participation in domain teams for other architecture areas to ensure alignment. Preparation of investment decisions based on detailed consideration of business cases, changes to existing processes and IT skill sets. Support implementation of new standards in close collaboration with other IT teams. Promote and enable technology sharing and reuse. Define processes and techniques to facilitate reuse of key technology services. Define =E2=80=9Chardened=E2=80=9D technology delivery patterns that accelerate deployment of new applications. Work with application teams to plan for changes to the technology architecture based on their requirements.
Manage and direct technology architects across multiple projects. Act a
as primary corporate contact for suppliers of strategic technology, in partnership with other IT teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to develop a deep understanding of the client=E2=80=99s business strategy, requirements and existing systems environment. Able to translate business into IT and vice versa. Track record of IT architecture leadership from design to implementation across domain areas with proven success with implementations of major projects.
12+ years of relevant IT background (leading infrastructure teams, architecture teams, or consultancy.) with experience across a broad range of technology domains.
Bachelor=E2=80=99s degree.
Master=E2=80=99s degree preferred.
Preferred technology experience in the following areas:Highly available fault tolerant systems, Geographically distributed architectures
Past experience in Healthcare sector is desirable.
Ability to engage senior executives through proactive networking skills.

Track record of delivering large-scale and multi-technology projects that meet quality, time and budget requirements.
Excellent understanding of current IT trends and their impact on business strategies: Abstract thinking, good balance between academic and pragmatic approach
