Description
The Director must be a self-driven, motivated and senior IT leader with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and good customer presence. The Director will interact with internal and external business users to gather and prioritize business requirements, oversee the development of functional and technical specifications, manage small implementation projects and oversee the day to day monitoring and resolution of system issues.

Essential Job Functions

Architects, designs, manages and monitors technology infrastructure with consideration of reliability, availability, and efficiency
Develops and monitors Key Performance Indicators for effectiveness & efficiency of technology
Manages relationships with multiple suppliers & outsources of IT goods and services in accordance with company policy and supplier Service Level Agreements
Structures, leads, trains and develops staff for maximum effectiveness
Ensures that users/customers are provided professional, courteous and timely support and service
Directs the implementation and execution of new/upgraded systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines and accountability
Administers approved expense budgets, within guidelines
Requirements

10+ years of relevant IT experience
Large scale package software experience, preferably with SAP
Project Management experience
Ability to travel 50%
Prior budget responsibility
