Description
Set up, and support the hardware / PC-related software requirements for company employees. Set up new employees with computer, and security needs. Disable computer and security setups for exiting employees leaving the company. Maintain the network of servers, laptops, desktops, printers, and routers. Ensure that system backup and maintenance procedures are successfully performed according to a predetermined schedule. Provide technical support for computer hardware (printers, desktop, laptop, drivers, and monitors) and software (productivity- E2 Shoptech, CAD/CAM applications, computer operating systems, internet applications, VPN). Maintains support from outside services for T1, router, security, and telephone needs. Observes deficiencies and suggests repairs and alternative devices. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer-related field. Minimum of four (4) years experience in personal computer and network support, maintenance, and repair. Experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2000, Microsoft Server 2000 or 2003, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2000 or 2003, Microsoft Office Professional, or XP, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Experience with anti-virus and anti-spam tools including Symantec Anti-Virus Enterprise, Exchange. Experience with security protocols and services including routers, switches, firewalls Experience with basic networking protocols and services including TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and SMTP. Experience with backup tools and applications, including Windows Backup, Backup Exec, and Symantec Live State Recovery. Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE or A+) certification preferred. Experience with Dell servers, desktops, and laptops preferred but not required. Industry experience (Manufacturing, CAD/CAM Support and Configuration) preferred. Experience with E2 Shoptech ERP software highly desirable. Experience with designing and maintaining Websites preferred.
