IT Field Service Support (Amarillo, TX and Surrounding Areas)

part time; AS NEEDED !
The support is Monday through Sunday, but the support will primarily be Monday thru Friday, with occasional weekend service calls as needed. Because we are servicing Retail, Financial, and Insurance industry accounts, the support is same day or next day support.

Hours of Operation:
The support is generally 8:00AM to 6:00PM, but there may be instances in which service is needed before 8:00AM or after 6:00PM.

The Compensation for the position is as follows:
1
. Support averages 12+ hours per week, hours are not guaranteed, hours worked are hours paid.
2. Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour
3. "PORTAL TO PORTAL" (drive time is paid at the same hourly rate as On-site repair time).
4. Mileage reimbursement: $0.34/mile driven per ETS mapping software "PORTAL TO PORTAL".

Location:

  1. Amarillo, TX and Surrounding Areas (150+ mile radius)

Preferred Knowledge and Comfortable working with or LEARNING the following:

  1. POS (Point of Sale) equipment (NCR)
  2. LASER PRINTERS (Lexmark, HP, Xerox, etc.)
  3. PC desktop support (Dell, IBM, COMPAQ, etc)

Possible Opportunities for Certifications (at customer's request):
1. Dell Cert's
2. HP Cert's
3. Customer specific Cert's such as State Farm Certification

The Field Service Representative responsibilities are:
Providing on-site services (troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair), logistics and parts inventory management, customer service, and commitment

The Compensation for the position is as follows:
1

Additional details/requirements of what we are looking for:
1. Travel to customer sites; Reliable form of transportation on daily basis is mandatory.
2. Managing the shipping and tracking of all parts used on daily basis is mandatory.
3. Support is on as needed basis per the customer's request
4. Drug Test and Background Check Required
