Description
Negotiate terms, conditions, & pricing with Fisher Scientific LLC s Suppliers for Information Technology (IT) related purchases (software, hardware, maintenance & services). Lead cross-functional teams to develop requirements and strategy to identify suppliers, establish Service Level requirements and resolve any performance issues. Prepare RFI/RFQ/RFP process with requesting departments, evaluate proposals, and select bidders. Manage the selection process and prepare executive summaries. Execute supplier agreements in conjunction with Legal to ensure contracts terms and conditions are in compliance with corporate and purchasing guidelines. Conduct formal business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance on a regular basis. Manage against contract performance to ensure that agreed upon cost, service, quality, and flexibility goals are met. Drive cost reductions through improved processes, improved communications, and effective negotiations and clear strategy.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will have: Bachelor Degree- 3+ years of demonstrated IT Sourcing- 3 - 5 years professional-level experience involving procurement of IT equipment and services. - Information Technology procurement and contract administration experience is preferred. College-level coursework in purchasing, public procurement, financial accounting, business or contractual law or computer technology related subjects are highly desirable. Professional certification as a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE) is also highly desirable. Able to be an effective influencer, have good collaborative skills and be effective at implementing standards, policies and procedures on a Global basis. Experience working in an enterprise environment.
