Description
IT Help Desk is a first level Help Desk which answers user questions and troubleshoot user problems to the highest possible technical level of expertise including calls regarding Client/Server Troubleshooting in Microsoft NT, UNIX, and dial-up networking. The analysts are able to resolve 75 TO 85% of the issues. If they cannot resolve the issue, they disposition the case to the appropriate second level (e.g., Server Administration, Desktop Support, Network Operations, or PBX).? Understand the components that comprise a PC.
? Understand the interaction between the client and the server (e.g., how to isolate what is happening on the client, versus what is happening on the server, in order to apply the appropriate solution or established resolution process.
? Ability to track the process to point-of-failure and record error messages or symptoms in order to apply the appropriate solution or established resolution process.
