Description
Genesis10 has a client in Northern Virginia that is seeking an individual for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity within their development group. This position will require being on-site and someone that possesses the knowledge and skills outlined below.

As the IT Human Resources Oracle Programmer/Analyst, you will participate in the development and maintenance activities for the Oracle Human Resources applications used by the firm. This position requires strong Oracle development skills.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in all areas of Oracle HR development and maintenance, including: Workflows, Alerts, Fast Formulas, Security and PL-SQL.
- Provide technical expertise on the Oracle applications, including: Human Resources, Oracle Payroll, HR Self-Service, Advanced Benefits (OAB), Discoverer and Portal.
- Provide technical expertise, develop and maintain the firms EIS Technologies Reporting solution.
- Participate in service request creation, monitoring and problem resolution.
- Participate in test plan development, testing and production promotion activities.
- Work with the user community on new initiative requirements definition and develop detailed design documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all issues regarding any HR systems.
- Participate in quarterly and annual Sarbanes-Oxley application reviews.df-tc


Experience/Skills
Required Experience/Skills:
- College Degree or relevant work experience with Human Resources systems.
- 5 years development experience.
- Excellent organizational skills; must be able to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to project a positive and professional image.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Must be able to use critical thinking skills to determine best approach to problem solving.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Strong aptitude for accuracy and must be detail oriented.
Development/Application Qualifications:
- Oracle development: Workflow, Alerts, Security, PL-SQL, Fast formulas.
- Oracle Applications: Human Resources, Oracle Payroll, HR Self-Service, Advanced Benefits (OAB), Discoverer, Portal.
- EIS Technologies Reporting =E2=80=93 preferred.
