Description
JCPenney Information Technology is currently seeking an Exchange administrator to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems pertaining to the operation of the Clustered Microsoft Exchange Servers in a Windows 2003 AD environment. The successful candidate will handle responsibilities including overseeing the status of trouble tickets initiated throughout JCPenney and ensure that trouble tickets are resolved, documented, and closed in a timely manner. This is a full time position located in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities:
? Serves as Microsoft Exchange 2003 Email Admin member, responsible for the specification, testing and implementation of Microsoft Exchange Servers and resolves Exchange Email system problems as required.
? Determines when server, software and OS upgrades are required and ensures that all upgrades are completed as scheduled, and that appropriate documentation exists prior to implementation.
? Monitors Microsoft Exchange systems to facilitate proper performance and performs diagnostics as needed.
? Develops, implements and documents configuration standards, policies and procedures for operating, managing and ensuring the security of Microsoft Exchange Server ADS environment.
? Ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices.
? Be able to server as a technical liaison on matters relating to the Microsoft Exchange environment.

Required Qualifications:
? Understanding of Exchange 2003 and Active Directory Services.
? Exposed or able to learn Exchange cluster systems.
? Experience in administering Exchange servers including installation, back-up and troubleshooting.
? Knowledge of Windows Server 2003.
? Experience with Backup, Restore and Disaster Recovery planning.
? Able to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.

Other Skills:
? Exposure of systems management, performance tuning and monitoring tools.
? Knowledge of anti-virus strategies.
? Proven ability to work within a team of technical professionals.
? Must have good oral and written communication skills.
? Any .NET programming experience.
? Developing winforms and asp.net websites.
? Creating scripts
? Able to understand full cycle development
? BlackBerry BES management experiencedf-tc
