Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:  Facilitates the development of key process improvements.  Participates in driving and managing key process improvement projects to successful implementation. Performs program manager responsibilities supporting the largest strategic Infrastructure initiatives.   Programs include execution toward consolidated data center strategy and the multi-tiered storage strategy.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serves as program manager for Infrastructure’s largest strategic projects
· Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans.
· Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing and budgets as needed, based on the needs of business program.
· Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes. 
· Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Mangers.
· Partners with Senior Leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
· Serves as facilitator in the development of process improvements
· Conducts and assists with Action Work-outs across functional areas.
· Influences and assists others to ensure successful implementation of process improvement ideas.
· Uses and educates others on Six Sigma, Lean Processing.
· Develops metrics to drive successful implementation of process improvement initiative ideas.
· Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Experience/Skills

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 7 years business experience within the information technology field
· Minimum 5 years program management and/or process improvement experience within the information technology field
· Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Processing improvement processes or comparable tools
· Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
· Strong technical and analytical skills specializing in process improvement.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Strong presentation skills.
· PMP certification or equivalent work experience is a plus.
