GENERAL SUMMARY
PolyOne Corporation is seeking an IT intern to assist with our current upgrade of our SAP system. This role will provide project management assistance as part of upgrade team. This position will provide support by developing and maintaining project plans and testing plans. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating communications to PolyOne regarding the upgrade. On the job training will be provided, giving the individual the opportunity to learn how to manage large scale IT projects.

The IT Intern position is a paid internship located in Avon Lake, OH. Pay is commensurate with experience.

These internships are an opportunity to work for an IT department that has been consistently recognized every year since 1995 in the InformationWeek 500 that identifies the top innovative corporate users of information technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain projects plans using Microsoft Project
- Develop and maintain test plans, track progress of testing, and coordinate testing sessions with different parts of the organization
- Development of key communication and training materials related to the SAP Upgrade
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must currently be enrolled as a student at an accredited institution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including telephone and email
- Ability to handle multitask, manage time, and prioritize tasks based on customer needs
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow process and procedure
- Previous IT business experience preferred
- Availability to work evenings and some weekends
