ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The CRM/Case Management application portfolio team supports and manages applications dealing with pre-sales activity tracking, deal tracking, leads management, call/case management and CTI. The IT Project Manager's role in the Demand Creation Systems (DCS) IT group reports directly to the CRM/Case Management IT Director. Core areas of service that this role is responsible for are project management, relationship management for Business Owners and key users, management of IT application work performed, and key participant in vendor management activities for related 3rd party software application providers.Additional Responsibilities:Application portfolio management

• Partners with the business to manage application roadmapManages consolidation of redundant applications in the functional areaPartners with the business to assess alternatives to requests for new solutions.Application portfolio managementPartners with other IT service providers to define service delivery strategies, adoption of new technologiesPerforms ongoing assessment of applications for EOL opportunities; drives EOL of applications where appropriate across the DCS IT and Business organizations.Manages MRP related activities, prepares forecasts for the applications in the functional area Customer relationship management
• IT point of contact for related business processesCollects voice of the customer information, other feedbackAssists with proactive stakeholder managementOne focal point for all IT activities in the functional areaIT owner responsible for overall customer satisfaction with the applicationsDCSIT Steering Committee memberDrives alignment of strategic business and systems architecture roadmaps related to functional area between Business Partner & DCS IT D&A group.Facilitates the resolution of application portfolio conflicts among key business ownersRepresents DCSIT in customer staff meetings, meetings re: related applicationsDrives IT related CAP activities for the functional areaProject management and work oversight-Manages specific application IT projects through life-cycle Manages the vertical staff resources to complete deliverables of the specific projects to which they are assigned.Partners with DCSIT Business Management group and Vertical groups to obtain required staff resources for required time periods to deliver projects for the functional area. Partners with the business to define requirements, understand alternativesResponsible for communicating status to customerOversees IT program and project management in functional areaResponds to requests for service in application areas (in conjunction with established prioritization process); commits DCSIT resources for projects; Manages resource/priority conflicts; responsible for communicating timelines to customers and coordinating all required resources within ITPartners with BPM and Vertical groups to obtain required staf ff resources for required time periods to deliver projects for the functional area. Drives priority and resource issue resolution as required.Participates in architectural reviewsPeople Management-Managing project resources across the vertical groups against project deliverables.Partner with Vertical Managers in staff development activities for resources working on functional area projects. Direct group of IT Program & Project ManagersDefine goals and communicate objectives of the APM related to DCS IT goals and the respective functional area application portfolio.Develop Program/Project Management and influence skills of the IT Program & Project Managers.
