IT MANAGER
Job Description and Responsibilities: This is a management role that requires communication with the following people for the following reasons:
Upper management - Direction, guidance, assistance and reporting Peers - Direction, guidance, assistance and team building Subordinates (direct and indirect reports) - interviewing, hiring, teaching, monitoring, encouraging, coaching and reviewing of direct and indirect reports as required. Other groups and /or departments - Gathering or passing information, coordinating efforts, training Vendors - Directing, assisting, coordinating and providing feedback - Manage the call tracking queue and ensure that the team delivers the services as per the SLA - Research and Understand company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and the staffs compliance to these rules and guidelines - Help define computing hardware and software standards and ensure compliance - Work with vendors to ensure that the users computing requirements are met - Create training material and help with staff training - Learn, document and be able to train on existing and new company infrastructure and systems - Research, develop and complete special projects that are assigned
Job Requirements:
Education: Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Preferred: Customer service and Team Building training Experience: Required: 2 years of management experience in a customer service environment 5 years of extensive hands on technical experience and training 1 year of call center experience or equivalent Preferred: Experience managing projects Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Required: Previous management experience Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Experience with computer hardware, network and stand-alone printers, laptops, PDAs and scanners Working knowledge or training in Networking, Internet, Email, UNIX Experience with using a Call tracking system 1 year of call center experience or equivalent Preferred: Working Knowledge or training of Remedy and VPN clients
