Will be responsible for information strategy planning and implementation, where the direction and priorities for information services for the entire enterprise are aligned with the corporate mission, vision, and goals. This is a hands-on position; expected to have expert knowledge of all desktop, server, network, and communications hardware as well as financial applications. Manage a 30+ user Windows 2000 AD network including desktop / server / router / security / antivirus backup and disaster planning. They should have an in-depth knowledge of the Windows 2000 AD and must be able to setup, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure that includes: Citrix MetaFrame XPs, Exchange Server 2003 SQL Server, Symantec Antivirus Corporate and Enterprise Editions, Veritas Backup Exec, Microsoft IIS, Cisco PIX Firewall, Cisco CAT 4000 Serial Switch and Cisco Routers. Should be adept at administrating and maintaining our financial applications including: Thomson ILX, Bloomberg, FactSet and BaseLine. Provide installation services, training; help-desk services, and provide various computer related consulting to end-users. Knowledge in troubleshooting, maintenance, and using financial software the firm are essential. The person should keep up-to-date with new releases, product updates, and patches and provide other software as well as hardware support and maintenance to ensure that all software and hardware meet current requirements for security and redundancy. Special attention must be paid to meet the needs of our executive users that rely heavily on Citrix as their remote access platform. A successful candidate will have in-depth experience supporting high level users on Microsoft Office applications remotely.
