Need an IT Manager. This is a highly visible position managing the IT operations. This will include multi-office locations, remote users, WAN/LAN and Microsoft server environment. This position requires one to have the ability to be self managed and have high communication skills. The candidate must be able to develop both tactical and strategic plans. Manage IT resources and staff. Ensure the reliability of IT systems and networks. Oversee hardware and software acquisition, configuration, and distribution. Maintain and manage appropriate department hardware and software inventory and system documentation. Coordinate and oversee capital and operational budgets for IT operations. Ensure correct installation and maintenance of workstations, backup servers and network equipment and troubleshoot system problems. Use technical expertise to handle complex projects involving systems integration, new technologies, IT initiatives, and project IT. Mentor, train, provide leadership, and direct activities and HR responsibilities of IT staff. Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented and maintained. Assist with all aspects of technical equipment, maintenance, supplies and serve as an IT resource for internal users. Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of corporate IT experience. Extensive experience working with Windows XP/2K/03, Exchange 2003, and Active Directory. Understanding and knowledge of network engineering including Cisco routers and switches, PIX firewalls and VPN is required. Ability to clearly communicate with and assist non-technical users and provide desktop support. MCSE and CCNA strongly preferred but not required.
