Premera Blue Cross is seeking a leader to manage our Custom Development team, with an emphasis on customer service excellence. The Custom Development team supports all areas of the company in developing small to large and mission-critical departmental fat client/web applications and reporting. Additionally, the team supports other IT development teams in creating re-usable components and web services. This team is a critical part of Premera’s development community as it is often the proving ground for the use of new and emerging technologies.

This position oversees a team of 16 resources – 2 internal consultants and 14 developers - junior to senior level, with expertise in: T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, C#, VB.NET, ASP 3.0, ASP.NET, Edify/Intervoice and CTI.

Put your passion for quality methodologies to use, in our fast-paced environment. Requirements: 5+ years of application management experience. System design, development, and testing experience in client/server computing environments. Candidates should have solid resource management experience with a focus on day to day management and resource development.
