Description

Responsible for management of IT middleware application teams performing new development and production support. Lead multiple teams of 6 to 10 individuals each possibly flexing higher with temporary demand. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management all aspects of a project life cycle - requirements to sustainment. Provide mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ Years technical leadership experience covering the entire software development life cycle
  • Proven experience in object oriented analysis and design leading to deployed production systems
  • Proven technical expertise leading Java and J2EE development projects
  • Proven strong background in Project and Team Management
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong partnering, coaching, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrated budget and schedule management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience leading large, complex system integration efforts
  • Proven experience with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) implementations
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing abilities
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule
