IT Manager, Java ApplicationsRichardson (Dallas), Texas Description:Fossil is searching for a seasoned Java Applications Manager to join the team! This manager has the responsibility to lead a team of application developers who deliver systems that directly or indirectly support the business through the development of Websphere Commerce or Java applications. The primary business areas of focus are on eCommerce through B2B or B2C applications. Additional responsibilities can include: * Facilitate, review, and prioritization of functional area customer requirements and management of internal customer expectations * Envisions and recommends innovative ideas that may support the eCommerce and other Java built applications. * Coordinate and help assure application regulatory compliance and enforcement of best practices in securing the information used by and distributed by the business applications. * Collaborate with Stake Holders in the eCommerce space, when needed, including any senior level person within that organization. * Collaborate with users, vendors, and industry consultants in a professional manner. Ensure that their team members are performing their expected duties as related to completing projects that are approved. This includes managing support and enhancement schedules, resources, and status. Develop effective processes to identify team members' strengths and developmental needs.
