Information Technology Manager

We are searching for a qualified and experienced Information Technology Manager! The qualified candidate will be responsible for the Information Technology department ensuring proper functioning of information systems. This position within the company is responsible for helping business operate utilizing information systems to improve efficiency. This includes keeping computer equipment, hardware and software updated to meet organizational needs. The IT Manager will perform a variety of other tasks including leading and directing the work of others and will report directly to C Level management.

Duties and Responsibilities:


System design / architecture of core and commercial systems

Define company policy as it pertains to Information Systems

Ensure that the company policies & procedures are defined, published and enforced

Research and implement new technologies as required to meet business goals

Keep abreast of the latest technology trends, offerings and practices

Submit annual budget proposals and manage IT department spending accordingly

Manage IT staff including training, daily direction and collaboration as needed

Bachelor's Degree

5 years experience in Systems Administration

First hand experience with core technologies: OS X, Windows 2k3, Solaris, Linux, Relational Databases, Java, web technologies

Superior communication and leadership skills

Ability to evaluate new technologies and determine their potential benefit to the organization

Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly and translating that knowledge to others

Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization
