Description
Non profit company seeks a polished IT Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Lead IT Department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.

*Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.

*Administer financial systems, which include security, reporting, metadata changes, and troubleshooting system issues.

*Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.

*Monitor systems releases and upgrades to ensure that systems are running on most current releases.

*Lead the full cycle of requirements gathering, design, configuration, and implementation of future enhancement to system.

*Conducts training, maintains documentations, and provides front line support IT related problems.

*Installs hardware and software, conducts systems upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software and security related problems.

*Performs system backups and recovery.

Requirements
Must have experience with administration of Windows based systems.
Must understand fully how relational databases work and have experience with all levels of query writing. SQL server experience a plus.
Windows server administration including system stability, integrity, and troubleshooting.
VMWare infrastructure 3 VMWare ESX v 3.5 and Virtual Center 2.5.
Lotus Notes/Domino 7/8 administration to include Blackberry end user Enterprise Activations.
Self motivated, effective communicator with strong verbal/written skills.

EDUCATION:

*Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering emphasis and/or in Computer science with 5 7 years of related experience.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Engineer.
