Description
Seeking "hands-on," energetic, highly motivated, hard working individual to join our growing team as IT Manager in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This is a "Hands On" position, responsible for analyzing and managing all IT related activities and accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, hands-on implementation, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and possess a service$1-$oriented attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. The candidate will have a proven and documented track record of driving continuous improvements in IT service levels with increasing levels of responsibility. The candidate must have a keen ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with an obvious sense of urgency.


General Responsibilities include:

Research, plan, deploy, configure, administer, maintain, secure IT servers and internal business applications
Plan and perform system hardware/software upgrades and system backups and disaster recovery operations
Manage en$1-$2ser Windows Desktop / Laptop and Phone support for internal employees and New Hires
Manage corporate e-mail services (MS Exchange)
Manage / maintain Telephone System, including moves, adds, and changes; voicemail administration
Manage company cell phone setup and account management
Installation, configuration management, security, monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting
Oversees performance management of applications and computing equipment and upgrades and patches into the production environment
Manages business continuity and recovery of company's information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation, maintenance, expansion and documentation
Develops and establishes operational policies, procedures and programs
Provide 24×7 on-call and on-site support, as needed, to maintain the production environment
Perform Vendor management including negotiations, relations, managing support and service levels
Provide comprehensive Ant$1-$2irus and Ant$1-$2PAM protection
Creating desktop and laptop standard software images using Ghost
Creating and maintaining user documentation and training programs
Troubleshooting network printer problems
Assisting in developing and managing IT budget and purchases

Experience/Skills
Technical & Educational Requirements:

BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT-related field
Minimum 5 years hands-on technical experience
2+ years I$1-$2elated managerial experience
In-depth understanding of Microsoft platforms and operating systems
Advanced knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003/Exchange Server and Active Directory
Understanding of software production operational requirements and methodologies
Extensive experience with local / wide area TCP/IP networks and routing, Mail servers Exchange 2000, 2003
Strong technical understanding of multiple technologies and applications with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience with configuring, administering, and troubleshooting VERITAS Netbackup
Experience with configuring, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise ant$1-$2irus management products
Solid skills in network and firewall configuration
UNIX / Linux system administration experience highly desirable

Experience managing multiple sites highly desirable
International IT experience desirable
Experience developing and administering Sarbane$1-$2xley IT controls desirable
