Description
Our client is well-known retail service company located in the Inland Empire and they are in search of a Sr. IT Manager for a full-time, direct-placement opportunity in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. Selected candidate will need exceptional technical acuity, good problem solving skills, and individual initiative to ensure the IT Department operations are organized, secure, and cutting-edge.

Responsibilities:
--> Provide day-to-day management and guidance of an IT team entrusted with the operation, stability, security, and support of all technology services and systems for the corporate headquarter and plants.
--> Plan for the implementation and budgeting of various IT projects including network architecture, storage, and provisioning.
--> Assist with establishment and implementation of department goals, policies, and procedures.
--> Identifying short-term and long-term technical needs of the organization and developing the necessary supporting strategies.
--> Interface with Production and other clients regarding their IT concerns around data import, export, report generation, ERP infrastructure.
--> Vendor relationship management and contract management with all IT and communication systems providers.
--> Provide technical leadership to a team of IT members including: Sys Admin, Network Admin, Desktop Support, and DBA.
--> Analyze workload and assign or schedule work to meet priorities and goals.
--> Communicate directly with senior management on a regular basis and participate in weekly managers' meetings.

Experience/Skills
--> Minimum BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or other related field.
--> 5+ years experience in Information Technology with expertise in management, supervisory skills, and project management. Maintain a firm understanding of new and emerging technologies.
Experience with network architecture, storage, and back-up and recovery
--> Hands-on experience in planning and operating a data center (w/backups, redundancy, disaster recovery)
--> Hardware: Windows and Mac based PCs and Servers (Windows, Linux, AIX), Telephony equipment.
--> Networking and Security: TCP, Firewalls, Routers, Switches (mostly Cisco)
--> Software: Experience in installing and maintaining business and accounting software in a LAN & WAN environment.
--> Analytical skills to develop requirement documents and design business applications.
