Our specialized local client seeks a IT Manager for an excellent growth opportunity to move their career into management. As a IT Manager you will put your talents to the test managing hands-on the dynamics of Cisco, Unix and Windows Server in an Active Directory environment. This company operates within Oregon's top growth industry and has outpaced its local competition. Duties• Migrate NT/4.0 Domain to Window Active Directory• Configure and maintain proper security procedures and take actions to ensure optimal performance• Document network architecture.• Backup all systems per schedule, maintain offsite materials and records, monitor backups and correct problems. Test restore/recovery for every system as lease once a year; recommend improvements as needed after tests.• Ensure configurations are technically correct and that they follow configuration standards prior to deployment• Ensure the integrity and security of all systems as well as the confidentiality of information as it pertains to guidelines and standards.• Workstation Support: Provide support for PCs, Laptops, PDA’s, Printers, Scanners, Monitors, etc.• Acquire, configure, install and repair workstations devices, and maintain up-to-date set-up instructions.• Participate in helpdesk and on-call after hours support.• Plan, coordinate, and implement enterprise level network projects.Management• Supervision and mentor IT staff of 2 people• Develop and manage department budget• Develop and annually review disaster recovery plan

Experience/Skills
Requirements:• Minimum two years’ supervisory, IT management experience in a mid-sized organization• Minimum three years’ experience as a Cisco Network Engineer/Administrator• Minimum three years’ Tier 1-3 helpdesk support experience and willingness to share in providing helpdesk support to end users.• IT budgeting, planning, and project management experience• Good knowledge of how to deploy new policies and even installs with a Group Policy Object in Active Directory.• Knowledge of PGO policy deploy and edit for Windows Admin• Knowledge of how active directories work• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, attention to details, testing and troubleshooting• Good driving records and reliable transportation• Stable, verifiable work history and verifiable credentials
