Description
Provide system engineering, administration, and management for the UNIX/Linux server environment to include: server HW, OS; storage, networking, and applications; performance; service; DR/BCP; security; procedure/policy – includes strong documentation. Manager system and NW administrators. Plan initiatives and projects. Responsible for DC environment and change requests.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Requires 6+ years of Unix server environment support – Solaris, Red Hat Linux, SAN. Plan, install, manage, and effectively document complex server, storage, and application environments, shell scripting, and troubleshoot networks. Project management experience in a fast paced DC environment with strong communication skills, BS/CS or related/equivalent, RHCT / RHCE. SNIA. SANS GIAC is also preferred. Prior WebSphere, Veritas NetBackup Data Center, Veritas Volume Manager, Apache, Perforce, Shell scripting, Big Brother monitoring, Windows clients, SSH, VMWare, SAN Architecture and switches is a plus.
