May perform one or more of the following:

Ensures all software and hardware products are compatible with network integration.
Manages the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s local area network system.
Directs and controls the activities of design, analysis, planning, and implementation of network components.
Identifies network problems and oversees resolution of problems.
Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all network and telephony systems.
Provides telecommunications technical support for multiple call centers’ telecommunications infrastructure.
Make sure daily tasks are properly performed and documented, including: virus scans, backups, user maintenance; provide reports to center/corporate management related to downtime, timeliness and accuracy, etc.
Manages call center infrastructure integration. Oversees telecommunications system administration. Programs and installs associated equipment.
Plan, implement, and follow up on call center application projects.
Oversee and provide direction to the Network/Telecom associate and desktop support associate if needed.
Diagnose and resolve problems related to call center systems.
Develop and implement security plan to protect the center, the systems, and the data from unauthorized use or access.
Other IT-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Combination of 4 years experience as network engineer/administrator with increasing responsibility and success in call center environment, with demonstrated skills in networking, telephony, routers, and management potential.
4+ years experience in IT dealing with Network Management in a LAN/WAN/VPN environment; installing, troubleshooting, upgrading operating systems such as Windows NT/98/95, Windows NT terminal sever, Novell, and MS SQL server.
Multi-protocol Data Network Support with a strong knowledge of routing and routed protocols including TCP/IP.
Multi-platform Cisco router and switch design, implementation and support including installing and maintaining network hubs/switches/high end Cisco routers/firewall systems.
Telephony experience preferred. Telephony systems, including pbx, acd, ivr, voice mail, and associated systems.
