IT Network Administrator - Network Security Administrator - Network

If you are a IT Network Administrator with solid experience, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, 5+ years related work experience.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Windows server and client versions and related utilities
- Experience with e-Mail Servers; networking technologies including Cisco Router/switch administration
- Ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols; Cisco Call Manager & Unity Messaging; IPCellerate
- VPN, remote access, and configurations of home PCs connected to the corporate network remotely
- PDAs, cellular phones, pagers, and combinations thereof; hardware installation and support; system security techniques and Firewall administration; Internet and Web technologies.
- Cisco certification CCNA or better. (Cisco VOIP a plus)

What you'll be doing:
- Communicate any changes to peers and department manager 1 week prior.
- Log all changes in the IT HelpDesk Ticketing System "RT".
- Timely installation and configuration of system software and hardware.
- System Uptime on VPN, Email, File Server, LAN and Voice systems.
- Apply Critical patches to network Switches and Servers quarterly.
- Respond to and Resolve Remote Connectivity issues as they occur.
- Document new procedures and configurations.
- Update Software License List.
- Assist with end user training on related technology (Remote Access, VPN,.etc).
- Maintain Server/Switch/Router Inventory List.
- Maintain and provide monthly network LAN/WAN statistics.
- Provide After hours and Normal business hours support and guidance to peers and users as needed.
- Provide on call after hours and weekend support.
