Description
Responsible for the operation of all computer hardware and network facilities company wide. This includes provision of day-to-day services, development of new technologies, system security and provision of desk-top applications. Travel between facilities on each coast is required on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:


Manage IT network/hardware staff facilities in both California and Pennsylvania.
Manage the daily operations of all network facilities and iSeries computers including desk-top and e-mail services.
Manage telephone and voice mail systems at all company facilities.
Ensure the security of all intellectual property, resident on the network and computers company-wide.
Develop network and other hardware infrastructure to meet the on-going needs of the company in accordance with the IT strategic plans.
Support the Network Steering Committee in CA and PA.
Establish and maintain all network/hardware controls, policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls by all technical staff.
Manage and execute projects assigned by the Associate Director - IT as required.
Meet with the Director of I.T. on a weekly basis to discuss the status of projects assigned in CA.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience managing IT network/operations groups.
Minimum of 3 years experience with Cisco networks.
MCSE and CCNA or CCNP certification.
Strong knowledge of, and several years experience within the I-Series (AS/400) operating environment.
Several years experience with MS Office applications

Desired Qualifications:

Experience within a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA.
Experience with computer network validation.
Experience with the laboratory systems in a pharmaceutical environment
Access / VBA / SQL Server application developmentdf-tc
