Description
MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. 2. Works with team to evaluate and solve technical and process problems on a daily basis. 3. Acts as a liaison and monitors project resources, technical staff and financial costs. 4. Establishes and administers the quality control program. 5. Prepares activity and progress reports reflecting results of customer satisfaction surveys. 6. Coordinates the production of proposals from strategic planning to delivery. 7. Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams including the search for quality staff. 8. Provides technical supervision to project team members and coordinates review of work product quality. 9. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and implementation of system changes. 10. Investigates, analyzes, designs, develops and implements cost effective solutions to business issues, business sponsored initiatives, and supports quality systems. 11. Acts as a liason with the client, introduces company to new clients, and searches for new business opportunities. 12. Troubleshoots, tests and oversees the delivery of quality product. 13. Coordinates among cross functional teams to identify challenges, recommend and implement technology solutions. 14. Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Requires a bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent experience. Must have at least 4 years experience in technical operations management or related area in the information technology field. Must possess excellent project management and personnel management skills. Must possess effective interpersonal skills to develop effective business relations. Ability to work in a fast pace work environment. Ability to work independent, without or little direction. Knowledge of a variety of best practices, design concepts and industry standard operating procedures for Service Oriented Architecture. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to supervise the work of others and be team oriented. Ability to rely on experience, instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and accomplish goals. Ability to work in an environment which encourages a certain degree of creativity and latitude. Must possess superior organization skills.
