Description
Our Cleveland area client has a 6-12 month contract opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager.

The Project Manager works closely with Developers, Testers, Business and Management to ensure projects are delivered on time and with quality, while
meeting business goals and objectives in a rapidly changing environment.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Liaison between business and development teams
- Negotiation of schedule, scope, and cost
- Acquisition and direction of resources in support of software development projects
- Planning and facilitation of project related meetings
- Assessment and communication of project progress and risks; addressing and escalating issues
- Providing guidance for junior team members on project management principles and processesdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Required experience and skills:
- Minimum of six (6) years experience leading formalized IT projects as a Project Manager
- Demonstrated expertise creating and or using Work Break Down Structures, Risk Management techniques, Critical Path Management, Gantt Charts, Pert Charts, Cost Estimating, and other concepts associated with project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with all levels of management

Preferred skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
- Expertise with Enterprise Project Management Tools such as Primavera TeamPlay
- Experience in analysis, design and/or development of client/server or Internet apps
- Experience managing IT development projects with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies

Other desired skills:
